That NYE, I knew I was playing for a majority of French and euros, thus the totally Africanism vibe. It was a great loft party in Downtown LA. My most vivid memory of that night was playing "Linda"/Martin Solveig and the entire crowd was singing along. The thing that blows my mind is that just about everything you hear on this mix is like Top 40 to them. If only we had a radio station playing this in LA. I'm pretty sure there would be less road rage, although people might get in accidents just by nature of the uncontrollable desire to dance around in one's car. Try to resist the temptation to get lost in the music while driving by simply pulling over to the side of the road and dancing in the street instead. Safety first!
